Enduring the Pain

It hurts to think back
Of those times
Where you and me were friends

We've grown much closer

The pain only increases
Then comes to the end
Only to have it
Repeat on again

More pain, more sorrow
But those were fine
Those were the days
Where you were mine

I should've let you go
Save all this mere regret

Than picture us never having met

My friends think I'm crazy

But forget them, forget the world
